Its time for PSL 4 Trade and Retention Window and we are seeing numerous big moves. Umar Akmal and Narine have moved to Quetta from Lahore.
As per the Press Release, spin wizard Sunil Narine along with Akmal will be traded to Quetta Gladiators with Rahat Ali and Hassan Khan donning the Qalandars colours for the next season.
Narine was Qalandars marquee player and you expect that given the stature he is held at T20 leagues. The guy has 299 T20 appearances and 342 wickets across different leagues and tournaments in the world.
Thank you to magician @SunilPNarine74 for being a part of Lahore Qalandars and bringing his exceptional game to the field! All the best for your future endeavors!

With the deal, Lahore would get Quetta’s platinum round pick. Quetta would get Lahore’s Silver round pick for Rahat Ali. Seems like a good deal. Narine may have under-performed given his exalted standard but he was the real MVP of the tournament last year.
Umar Akmal has been swapped for Quetta’s Hasan Khan. For Akmal, the move to Quetta marks a new chapter. Akmal who scored 556 runs at the strike rate of 138 in his 20 PSL appearances will bring much-needed firepower to the Gladiators side.
Hasan Khan is a promising youngster and Rahat did come to his own the last season. This is one high end deal and one that would make the PSL more competitive.
